The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, and I love the inclusion of so many animals along with their habitats that add some interest and details to keep young attention spans. This makes it all the more entertaining and educational. I loved the facts on the back of each partial page flap that give more information and cool facts about some of the animals and trees. The changes through seasons as well as how those seasons are defined are really interesting. What I loved: This interactive book is a view of different climates, locations, and the amazing plants and animals that live there.

The book explores a variety of locations, including the arctic and mangrove trees in Northern Australia.

As readers turn each smaller page flap, they see what it looks like during the other seasons, as well as facts about the environment and animals who inhabit it during each season. For instance, the book begins with a scene around a Mighty Oak and all the animals who live there. SEASONS is an intriguing book that takes the reader to different parts of the world and examines how they change with the differing seasons.
